Meredith discovered Mindfulness while struggling to strike a healthy work-life balance, an issue all too prevalent in the nursing profession. Her graduate Capstone project focused on the lack of self-care training in nursing school curricula.
Introducing Mindfulness to undergraduate nursing students builds resilience at the student level, arming novice nurses with coping skills to thrive in the harsh healthcare environment throughout their entire career. Meredith has more than a decade of experience as a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care nurse. She has always loved the educational role of nurses and enjoys sharing her knowledge as a Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor, Lead S.T.A.B.L.E Instructor, and as adjunct faculty for a baccalaureate nursing program.
