Combining Hannah & Kristen’s unique personalities, skills, and experiences, Nurses In The Know was born from conversations and personal connections with burnt-out nurses looking for something more. Understanding that burn-out is a common side-effect of the nursing career, Nurses In The Know is dedicated to encouraging nurses and providing them with the support and education needed to cope with their careers and personal lives outside of nursing.
From how to handle finances, to finding contracts, and everything in-between, Nurses In The Know covers a range of relevant themes for nursing professionals. By covering those difficult topics, Hannah & Kristen hope to encourage and empower nurses to combat burn-out and have more satisfying careers.
One of the other purposes of Nurses In The Know, is to help nurses find alternative careers that utilize their nursing experiences. Understanding that nursing is more than just working at the bedside, Kristen & Hannah discuss the importance of using your foundation and experiences (either at the bedside, in the ICU, or elsewhere), to explore different career paths. By picking the brains of their podcast guests, they help their listeners gain insight into different healthcare-related career paths.
