Our guest Teri Dreher is an RN with nearly 40 years of experience in nursing. Spending most of her career as an ICU nurse, Teri uses her passion for helping others through her business NShore Patient Advocates.
With the coming of the technological era, Teri noticed a shift in the quality of care, as nurses paid more attention to charting than their patient’s needs. Recalling her personal experiences, Teri reflects on the poor care that her loved ones received in the ICU, inspiring her to start her business where she can freely advocate for her patients.
NShore Patient Advocates is composed of high-quality nurses that protect patients by protecting the right to an accurate diagnosis, helping navigate the healthcare system, and collaborating with providers to ensure that clients “receive optimum medical care”. Working specifically for patients, Teri hopes to continue to grow her business and make patient advocacy a norm.
