The Death Doula

The Death Doula NursePreneur Podcast

Melinda Chichester is an Energy Practitioner and End-of-Life Doula. She offers transformative support helping people as they encounter death in themselves, family and friends. Melinda provides physical, emotional, energetic, informational and coaching support as you navigate through the final transitions in your life.

She felt called to do end-of-life work quite some time ago. It is a sacred mission; a true vocation helping the soul as it is to be ‘born to eternal life.’ Melinda is an apprentice in this work and will not graduate from this school until her own death.

As Melinda works with families and their loved ones hearing their stories she embraces the idea that death is a transition we need to befriend rather than fend off. When we face death directly with a sense of acceptance and curiosity, it becomes an opportunity for a sacred, trusting, caring, and healing learning environment.
